INsider Training Is Live – Are You BLOG-IN?

21 February 2009 • Major League Insider Training.

Welcome to the INsider Training BLOG!

I’m so happy to have you be a part of this exciting next step
in the growth of the hottest baseball training site on the net today!

The BLOG is going to be OUR forum.

Think of it as your front row seat or press pass to learn
everything you’ve been wanting to know about training
the right way for baseball and how to become the best
conditioned player you can for THIS upcoming season.

It will be All Access for sure!

Over the next few weeks of Spring Training, leading into
Opening Day, and throughout the exciting upcoming season,
you and I will be able to connect through this very page!

I want to be able to give you a deeper look INside the
game, and allow you to interact in a way you never
thought was possible.

To start it all off and show you exactly what I mean,
I’m going to give you a unique opportunity to ask a big
league starting pitcher a question about his preparation,
his training, toughest opponent, most memorable day of
his career, whatever is on your mind!

Our first guest will be Mets starting pitcher
John “The Maine Event” Maine.

Start posting your questions to the comments section
below and I will choose the best “5” for number 33 to
answer when we speak this Wednesday.

Just as he pitches, John will no doubt come right
at you with his best. No holding back I’m sure!

Once again, thank you for being a part of this with me.
I’m looking forward to sharing the best I’ve got with you
in helping you on your quest to either be…or create…the
best player you can!

Keep checking back for frequent updates!

Best in health and baseball,

Jeff

Hey Jeff! Cool idea! I can’t wait for more of your posts. I would love to ask John two questions if I could. The first, how many times a week does he do is core program (my abs are still killing me every time I do it!), and on a personal note, when did he realize he could be as good as he is. I know he struggled early on in Baltimore. Thanks for the opportunity Jeff and keep up the great work! Three of my buddies and I have been following the INSIDER TRAINING program as we get ready for our season, and plan to continue it straight through to keep us strong. So far it has been unbelievable!

    John,
Do you run between starts? If so, what kind of running do you do? My legs feel smoked after I pitch and I wind up putting off my running. Before I know it, my next start is here and I haven’t done any kind of conditioning. Thanks and best of luck this season! Go Mets. Jake

Hi John. I am a high school senior pitcher and I am the ace on my team. I was wondering how hard you were throwing when you were a senior in high school??

Jeff….great work on this site! I bought the book as well for a couple of my players. I can’t tell you enough how helpful it was for me. Finally, a baseball program that I can feel confident giving to my young kids on my team. As for John, I would like to know what the best advice he could give to a 13 year old that is dreaming of being a big leaguer. I have 3 of them on my team alone! I’m sure there are plenty more. I was just wondering what good nugget you might have for them. Thanks and good luck this season….Coach B
